Switch it Up!
Blackjack switch is just one of the fantastically fun card games on offer at Jackpot Scratch. This game differs from the classic online blackjack games that you are probably already familiar with. It’s best to read about the main differences so that you can maximize your time playing blackjack switch and master the subtle deviations from the original which make this game unique.
Switch it Up with Blackjack Switch!
Unlike the more traditional online blackjack games, blackjack switch allows you to play two hands at the same time. This means you have twice as many chances to beat the banker. You can also increase your odds of winning, as you have the option to switch over the top cards dealt in each hand, to make the best two hands possible. The hand on the right is always played first.
For example:
Right hand: Ace and 4
Left hand: 5 and 10
Swap over the 4 and the 10 to make the two new hands Ace and 10 (Blackjack) and 5 and 4. You can then hit, stand, double, etc., as you would in any standard blackjack game.
You can only switch these top two cards before you choose any other gaming options. If you hit, split (when you are dealt a pair on one of the hands), double, or stand on the right hand cards, then you will not be able to switch around the cards in your hand until the next cards are dealt.
If you switch the cards, but then decide to change back to your original hands, this is also possible. Simply re-click the SWITCH button and your cards will revert back to their original position.
Further differences between classic blackjack and online blackjack switch are that the banker must always hit on a soft 17, and always draw one more card when they have 17, with an Ace valued at 11. The banker can also look at their face down card, if the face up card is an Ace or a 10. If the banker has blackjack and you do not, the game is automatically over before you have made any moves.
